Join my clients FMCG Food Manufacturing business as Category Buyer – Food Have full accountability over £m of spend over numerous categories Client Details My client are a food manufacturing business with multiple sites in the UK Description Support the FMCG Food Procurement manager creating, inputting and recommend a Commodity Risk Management (CRM) plan for the defined area which the leadership team can approve Other responsibilities include: * Support the Procurement manager whilst owning a defined area. * Ownership of the movement of PPV v Budget and clear understanding on the drivers * Managing raw material & finished Goods placing purchase orders to suppliers to ensure 100% OTIF to customers using appropriate tools within the business. * Close out accounts payable queries to reduce the outstanding invoice for your defined area. * Reviewing and drafting supplier contracts to provide terms for benefit * Drafting and executing RFI'S and RFQ's, finalising recommendation for sign offs before implementation * Source new suppliers, de list non performing suppliers and provide a clear plan for your suppliers using the vendor management process through Grow, Maintain, Decline * Input into annual budget process and identifying risk & opportunities.
