Description
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in managing the day to finances of this growing organisation.
The role will include;
- Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Review and improve financial controls and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address financial queries.
- Supervise and support the finance team during the interim period.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external advisors as required.
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
- Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Confidence in managing budgets and forecasts.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- The ability to lead and support a team effectively.
Job Offer
- Salary equivalent up to £65,000.
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the office
