My client is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join them on a temporary basis for 4 - 6 months. This role will business partner with the operational teams as well as produce the monthly management accounts and associated commentary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Lead forecasting for your business area
  • Analyse performance and explain variances to budget, forecast and prior year
  • Maintain strong financial controls and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Partner with operational teams, providing clear financial guidance

Profile About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with strong management accounting experience
  • Experience within manufacturing and/or costing would be very useful
  • Confident analysing data and presenting clear, actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain financial concepts to non‑finance colleagues
  • Organised, detail‑driven and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Proactive, collaborative and always looking for ways to improve

Job Offer

Competitive daily rate up to £400 per day, depending on experience. A quick start - ideal start date is 23rd February.
