As a Business Change and Systems Analyst in the retail industry, based in Birmingham, you'll play a key role in improving internal systems and processes. Your work will help the organisation streamline operations and ensure technology aligns with business goals.

This role is with a company in the retail industry, based in Birmingham.

Description

  • Analyse and document existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Support the implementation of system changes, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Create and author User Stories for the Digital and Development teams.
  • Conduct testing and validation of new systems or system enhancements.
  • Provide training and support to users on new systems and processes.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation.
  • Work closely with the technology team to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for optimisation.

Profile

A successful Business Change and Systems Analyst should have:

  • Experience in analysing and improving business processes and systems.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Writing User Stories.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and creating clear specifications.
  • Knowledge of system testing and validation techniques.
  • A background in the retail industry is beneficial.
  • Problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.

Job Offer

  • Salary of Β£50,000-Β£55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Permanent position based in Birmingham.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
