Description

  • Lead the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) process including root cause analysis, 8D reporting, and verification of corrective actions.
  • Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, and process reviews.
  • Develop and implement Supplier Quality Agreements and performance standards.
  • Define and maintain incoming inspection standards and defect analysis.
  • Lead investigations into production fitment problems using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Own the PPAP process for all new and modified components.
  • Maintain supplier KPIs including PPM, SCAR closure rates, and audit outcomes.
  • Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supplier site visits to audit quality and capability both domestically and internationally.

Profile

A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:

  • A background in engineering or manufacturing, with relevant qualifications.
  • Experience in supplier quality assurance or related roles within the industrial sector.
