The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of Refrigeration production equipment within the FMCG industry. Based in Bradford, this permanent role requires a hands-on approach and a focus on maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.
This opportunity is working for a poultry processing business that focuses on delivering high-quality products to its customers.
Duties will include however not be limited to:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery - blast freezers and air conditioning maintenance
- Carrying out reactive and planned refrigeration maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and identifying non-repairable issues
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards during all maintenance activities
- Collaborating with the production team to schedule and prioritise maintenance tasks
- Recommending replacements and repair solutions where required
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in refrigeration maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- F-Gas certification - desirable
Job Offer:
- Working hours are Monday to Friday - 6am - 5pm
- Annual salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000
