Client Details

This role is with a company in the financial services industry based in Bishopbriggs. Near the train station and free parking onsite.

Responsible for managing and controlling rental income and property-related receivables within Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) schemes.

The role ensures timely invoicing, effective credit control, and accurate financial administration of property assets held within SIPPs, supporting the wider property and administration teams.

  • Monitor and manage property-related payment collections for SIPP accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of rental income and outstanding balances.
  • Communicate with tenants to ensure timely payments and resolve any queries.
  • Prepare regular reports on payment statuses and outstanding debts.
  • Liaise with internal teams to address discrepancies or payment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in reconciling property accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support the accounting team with other finance-related tasks as needed.

A successful Finance Assistant / Credit Controller should have

Experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or property finance

  • Understanding of property management or commercial leases (desirable)
  • Knowledge of SIPP or pension administration (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
