The Transaction Services team advises owner-managed businesses, private equity investors, corporate acquirers and funders across a broad range of transactions, delivering high-quality financial due diligence and transaction support services.
Description
- Support the leadership and day-to-day management of the Transaction Services team
- Take ownership of operational delivery, ensuring transactions are executed efficiently and to the highest technical standards
- Lead financial due diligence engagements for corporate, private equity and owner-managed business transactions
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, overseeing planning, execution and client delivery
- Review and challenge financial analysis, key deal drivers and transaction risks
- Act as a senior escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Develop, coach and mentor managers and junior team members, helping to build a high-performing advisory team
- Contribute to strategic planning, resource management and operational improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, private equity houses and other professional advisers
- Support business development activities and participate in networking and market-facing initiatives, whilst operating within a role that has a stronger operational and leadership focus than pure revenue generation
Profile
- Extensive Transaction Services experience at a leadership level
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Proven experience leading due diligence projects and managing client relationships
- Experience developing and managing teams within a fast-paced advisory environment
- Commercially aware with an understanding of the wider M&A landscape
- Comfortable operating as a senior leader and trusted adviser to clients and colleagues alike
- Able to balance operational leadership responsibilities with selective business development activity
