We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our People Services team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering high-quality HR advice, employee relations, managing policy updates, and supporting organisational change initiatives. Based in Birmingham City Centre, you will be required to be in the office one day a week.
Responsibilities:
- Review, update, and implement people policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations casework and coach managers through processes.
- Use data and insights to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the Policy Working Group to maintain an effective policy review schedule.
- Support consultation and implementation of policy changes, including engagement with trade unions.
- Contribute to change projects such as competency and well-being frameworks.
Profile:
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Proven experience managing complex ER cases.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to managing priorities.
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable.
