Description

What you'll be doing:

  • Advising managers on employee relations matters including conduct, absence, grievance, performance, bullying & harassment
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Managing HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Producing HR reports and supporting HR projects
  • Supporting apprenticeship programmes
  • Attending disciplinary, grievance and welfare meetings across UK sites

Profile

What we're looking for:

  • HR experience in a busy operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with strong IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Experience within Transport, Warehouse, Distribution or Wholesale sectors is advantageous
