As a Finance Analyst in Aylesbury, you will help the Accounting & Finance team keep financial information clear and useful for the business. You will review figures on Power BI, prepare reports and provide insight that supports sound day-to-day decisions. Client Details The organisation operates in the Property industry in Aylesbury. Description The Finance Analyst responsibilities include: Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, apps and reporting solutions to support business performance and decision-making. Manage the flow of data into Power BI, ensuring reporting accuracy, integrity and continuous improvement of existing analytics tools. Produce month-end stock valuation reporting, maintain stock cost data and prepare branch stock reporting templates. Generate and analyse key financial and commercial reports, including cost of sales journals, price variance analysis, order book reporting and product pricing performance. Prepare insightful monthly business analysis packs and presentations for senior leadership and executive meetings. Deliver annual sales order book gap analysis and support ongoing sales performance reporting. Maintain and update critical business reporting spreadsheets and data sources. Partner with the wider finance team on ad hoc projects, process improvements and business analysis initiatives.Profile A successful Finance Analyst should have: Experience of analysing financial data and turning it into clear, useful information. Confidence preparing financial reports and checking figures for accuracy. Strong numerical skills and a careful approach to handling financial information. Experience working with colleagues to collect, review and validate data. The ability to identify trends and explain variances in a clear way. Excellent Excel & system skills including Power BI knowledge. A practical understanding of Accounting & Finance processes.Job Offer Benefits: Permanent Finance Analyst position based in Aylesbury.
