Description
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements, ensuring delivery aligns with UK auditing and accounting standards
- Take ownership of key audit areas, producing high-quality, well-documented work and preparing statutory financial statements
- Work closely with a diverse client portfolio, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the audit life cycle
- Identify and assess audit risks, applying sound technical judgement to complex areas including group reporting, acquisitions, and non-routine transactions
- Review the work of junior team members, providing clear, constructive feedback and supporting their ongoing development
- Play an active role in mentoring and coaching junior staff, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative team environment
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, balancing competing deadlines while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Contribute to audit planning and completion meetings, ensuring key risks and findings are clearly communicated to stakeholders
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve audit quality, efficiency, and client service delivery

Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong experience in auditing within the professional services sector.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
