Support and lead execution and origination work-streams across leveraged and acquisition finance transactions while delivering high-quality financial analysis, deal materials, and cross-bank collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Our client is a leading financial institution with a dedicated Leveraged & Acquisition Finance franchise supporting both sponsor and corporate clients - operating as a centre of excellence within the organisation, they are recognised for their expertise in banking and financial services.

As an Associate within the Large Cap Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality financing solutions for clients. You will be responsible for supporting and leading end-to-end transaction execution, from initial assessment through to closing, while contributing to origination initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed credit analysis, including preparation of credit papers, review of due diligence, and development of leveraged buyout (LBO) models.
  • Preparing transaction materials such as lender presentations, offering memorandums, and pitch documents.
  • Reviewing legal documentation, including term sheets and financing agreements.
  • Guiding support teams through internal processes (KYC, funding, internal approvals).
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, coverage teams, external clients, and advisors.
  • Supporting origination by producing high-quality marketing materials and assisting relationship teams.

  • Strong credit analysis and financial modelling (including LBO) experience.
  • Excellent financial statement analysis capability.
