An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Credit Controller to join our client in Southampton. This role requires a detail-oriented individual to support the Accounting & Finance department with credit control tasks.

Description

  • Monitor and manage outstanding debts to ensure timely payments.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department with monthly reporting tasks.
  • Prepare and send reminder letters or statements as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth credit operations.
  • Assist in setting up new client accounts and credit checks.
  • Provide administrative support to the credit control function.

Profile

A successful Assistant Credit Controller should have:
