The Assistant Buyer Engineering role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to procurement and supply chain operations within the industrial and manufacturing industry. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a focus on supporting purchasing activities and supplier management. As Engineering Procurement Coordinator, you will support the end‑to‑end procurement process within the engineering team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing RFQs and liaising with internal stakeholders
  • Analysing supplier quotations and supporting supplier selection
  • Negotiating pricing, lead times, and commercial terms
  • Raising purchase orders and managing supplier relationships
  • Using SAP to prepare quotations and maintain accurate records
  • Monitoring delivery schedules and following up with suppliers
  • Producing procurement reports and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining supplier databases, contracts, and records
  • Supporting wider team administration and communications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong commercial awareness and procurement understanding
