We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Buyer to join a thriving procurement and supply chain team within the FMCG industry. This role in Brighton focuses on supporting the purchasing process and ensuring the timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and selecting products to meet market demands.
- Support the negotiation of supplier terms to achieve optimal pricing and quality.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely reordering of products.
- Maintain and update product and supplier databases accurately.
- Collaborate with the procurement and supply chain team to streamline processes.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and inform purchasing decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
A successful Assistant Buyer should have:
