Description
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Provide support for audits and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data.
Help improve financial processes and systems where needed.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have
Experience in accounting and finance, ideally within industrial or manufacturing.
Studying towards CIMA or ACCA (latter stage AAT Level 4 studiers are encourage to apply also).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Good knowledge of accounting software and Excel.
Part-qualified or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
Salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
