Description:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
- Process balance sheet reconciliations
- P&L and cashflow analysis
- Monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Provide detailed variance analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as needed
- Support the wider team with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis tasks
- Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Full reconciliation of bank accounts across allocated entities, ensuring accurate cash and net debt reporting
Profile: A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance ACCA or CIMA - OR qualified by experience.
- Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
