A fast growing and highly successful firm of accountants based in Exeter is looking to recruit an Advisory Tax Senior as a key addition as part of the firm expansion and growth plans within a role focusing across both personal and corporate tax planning and the delivery of tax advisory project work, with scope to focus down areas of technical interest.

The firm acts for wide ranging OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients wide ranging in sector and turnover alongside a private client base encompassing HNWIs, directors, property related and other personal tax clients. Whilst delivering a quality compliance service, the firm also focuses on tax planning and advisory services and the tax team is looking to bolster this advisory side, working directly and closely with tax experts developing technically and carving a key, influential role in this firm with the associate progression opportunities on offer.

Joining the Exeter offices as an Advisory Tax Senior you will undertake a mixed tax role delivering tax planning and advice to both corporate and personal tax clients. You will work on varied tax planning and advisory projects which could encompass researching and advising on business sales, acquisitions, R&D, CGT and tax advice for shareholders, inheritance tax and succession planning as just some examples. You will benefit from support and mentoring and develop and progress within a tax advisory focused career.

For this Advisory Tax Senior role you may hold a qualification across any of ACCA, ACA/ ATT and/or CTA qualified or studying and will have a career background developed in either personal tax, corporate tax, or across mixed tax, gained within an accountancy practice environment, or specialist tax firm. You will be looking to further your career in tax, following qualification, within a firm offering progression and development. You will be able to demonstrate a client-serviced approach and be looking to focus your career down the advisory route, with commercial awareness and the ability to add value to clients, building relationships and be looking to progress in your tax career.
