Accounts & Tax Senior

As an Accounts & Tax Senior in London, you'll review annual accounts, prepare annual statutory accounts for your own portfolio of companies, and act as the main point of contact for tax-related queries.

Client Details

Small, rapidly growing London-based accounting and advisory firm supporting entrepreneurs, company directors, and international clients operating in the UK. Office is based near St Paul's.

Description

• Prepare and review financial accounts for clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Handle tax calculations and submissions for clients.
• Manage and oversee bookkeeping tasks.
• Provide financial insights and advice to clients.
• Assist with audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.
• Support junior team members with their development and queries.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure deadlines are met.

Profile

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience in a UK accounting practice with experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Working knowledge of FRS 102/105.
• Ability to handle corporation/income tax related questions.
• Proficiency in Xero and Xero HQ is mandatory.

Job Offer

• Salary up to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid working, with 3 days in the office.
