Based in Central London, you will work within an expanding Accounts team as a Senior. The role is a combined office-based and client facing role, working within the department in small teams under the supervision of a manager and partner.
This growing accountancy firm in Central London works with a diverse portfolio of clients including small and medium sized privately owned limited companies, LLP's, partnerships and sole traders.
In this role in the accounts team, up to 50% of time will be spent on year end accounts and 50% on management accounts. Responsibilities include:
- Produce accurate draft accounts with minimal outstanding queries together with well-presented working papers, in a timely and methodical manner.
- Prepare accounts from a wide variety of client records ranging from basic prime books and records through to computerised accounting packages.
- Act as a key client contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advice and support on financial matters.
- Guide and review the work of trainees and junior team members, for accuracy and completeness.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Utilise accounting software and tools to streamline operations and reporting.
Profile:
- Fully qualified ACA or ACCA.
- Able to demonstrate wide experience and competency in full accounts production from basic prime books and records through to computerised accounting packages.
- Ability to multi-task and work to budgets.
- Fully conversant with Sage and QuickBooks software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Pro-Audit, CCH and Microsoft Office Products, in particular Excel software.
