Job Description

  • Carry out daily mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment.
  • Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work.
  • Proactively look for new, improved ways of working.
  • Propose corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off pattern, 4 Days and 4 Nights.

The Successful Applicant

  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering techniques.
  • Knowledge of site services, CIP, refrigeration, steam boilers, water and effluent monitoring are desirable but not essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualified at a minimum.
  • Experience of working in reactive maintenance roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: a team player who is prepared to support fellow engineers and can also develop good relationships with colleagues in departments across the business.
