Our client is a leading Investment Management firm based in West Yorkshire.
Job Description
The Training and Competency Supervision Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing individuals within the team, undertaking Performance Development Reviews and Personal Development Plans.
- Supervising new and existing Investment Managers.
- Assessment of Investment Managers ongoing Competence.
- Identifying areas of improvement, setting in place and monitoring Development Plans.
- Reporting concerns/risks and providing recommendations where improvements are not being made.
- Assisting with Regulatory Change programmes involving Investment Managers knowledge, skills, and competence.
- Contributing to the annual Certification process.
- Acting with integrity and for the benefit of the clients, in accordance with the objectives and cross-cutting rules of Consumer Duty.
The Successful Applicant
The Training and Competency Supervision Manager should have the following skills:
- Candidates must be CISI level 4 (IAD) qualified and above.
- Significant experience within financial services.
- Experience of Training and Competence within Investment Management/Wealth Management.
- Supervisory experience.
