Job Description
The Basics
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts within UK Retail and Gift amongst the US and UK markets.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and ensure timely resolutions – work closely with the US Sales team – assist with product updates, forecasting and trade show planning – to maintain brand consistency and operational alignment.
- Identify new business opportunities to expand the client base – this is a hands-on commercial role, best suited to a confident relationship-builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Account Management (UK)
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts within UK Retail and Gift amongst the US and UK markets.
- Develop and implement JBPs, and strategies to achieve sales, margin and distribution targets.
- Present new product ranges, negotiate listings and secure promotional opportunities.
- Analyse sell-through data, stock levels, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure on-time-in-full delivery and strong brand presentation.
- Attend annual trade shows and key industry events.
Team Coordination (US)
- Support the US Sales and Operations team with information sharing, forecasting and planning for Key Accounts.
- Coordinate updates on product availability, pricing and promotional activity.
- Provide materials, reports and data as needed to ensure consistency across regions.
- Assist with virtual or in-person trade shows and presentations as required.
Commercial Planning & Reporting
- Deliver accurate account forecasting and sales analysis for UK Accounts.
- Track KPIs and provide regular reports to the Sales Director.
- Manage Account-Level trade spend and ensure positive ROI on promotional activity.
- Identify and share commercial insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
Collaboration & Brand Representation
- Work cross-functionally with UK Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to achieve sales and service goals.
- Be a Brand Ambassador – Trade Events, Customer Meetings, Product Presentations etc.
- Provide customer and market feedback to influence product and commercial strategy.
Essential
- Ideally 3 years in KAM / NAM role.
- Proven success managing retail and/or gift sector accounts.
- Strong commercial but customer-first approach.
- Excellent communication.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Experience with ACT! CRM.
- Experience in the TOY/GIFT/Children's product sector.
- Understanding of sustainable consumer brands.
