This role is for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for the overall maintenance, repair and improvement of production machinery within a high-volume environment in the Derbyshire region. The successful candidate will ensure high levels of operational effectiveness.

Description
- Perform regular inspections on production machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Execute timely repairs on faulty machinery to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement production efficiency improvements.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Document maintenance procedures and machinery audits.
- Manage spare parts inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Provide training to the production staff on machine operation and safety protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Monday - Friday - 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Technician should have:
- A recognised Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
