We are seeking a Patient Onboarding Executive to take ownership of our UK patient pathway. This is a pivotal role for someone who is empathetic, highly organised, and passionate about improving patient experiences during one of the most challenging times in their lives. You will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, guiding them through the onboarding process and ensuring a seamless journey from initial enquiry to treatment. This is a unique opportunity to shape and implement processes, build relationships, and help lay the foundation for future growth. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and have scope to develop the role and team as the business expands.
Job Description
- Act as the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing timely, compassionate, and professional responses.
- Manage the UK patient pathway end‑to‑end, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience.
- Coordinate and support initial patient consultation meetings.
- Build rapport and maintain ongoing positive relationships with patients and their families.
- Liaise with medical clinics and pathology partners on behalf of patients.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior team members to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our immunotherapy treatments and communicate this clearly to patients.
- Support future team‑building initiatives as the service expands.
The Successful Applicant
- Previous experience in patient services, healthcare charities, or cancer‑related organisations is highly desirable.
- Understanding of cancer treatments or patient pathways (professional or personal experience) is advantageous.
- Experience in service management or customer‑facing roles with high emotional intelligence.
