The Real Estate team is central to the firm\’s success, advising a wide range of clients including housing providers, developers, and investment funds. The stock rationalisation team is one of the most experienced in the sector, regularly handling complex transactions involving portfolios ranging from tens to thousands of units.
Job Description
You\’ll specialise in stock rationalisation projects, supporting the full lifecycle of property transactions – from negotiating stock transfer contracts and drafting legal documentation to producing reports on title and managing legal completion. You\’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to larger projects such as joint ventures, site acquisitions, and property disposals.
- Draft and negotiate stock transfer agreements, contracts for sale, leases, and deeds.
- Report on title and property searches, proposing solutions to title issues.
- Liaise with management companies, insurers, and other stakeholders.
- Attend weekly project calls and maintain regular client communication.
- Support wider team initiatives and contribute to training and development.
The Successful Applicant
- 3-5 years\’ PQE as a Real Estate Solicitor, ideally with stock rationalisation experience.
- Strong drafting and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage transactions independently.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Familiarity with Registered Providers is a plus, but not essential.
