Job Description

The key responsibilities for the Social Media & PR Manager are:

  1. PR and Social Media Strategy : Lead and execute PR and social media activities to enhance brand awareness and market positioning, ensuring alignment with marketing teams.
  2. Agency Management : Collaborate with PR agency to manage media inquiries, crisis communication, and overall press office operations.
  3. Social Media Strategy & Content : Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy, manage content planning, and oversee content creation.
  4. Influencer Marketing : Manage influencer relationships, from identification to content production and amplification.
  5. Paid Social Coordination : Work with the paid social team to ensure consistency between organic and paid content.
  6. Reporting & Analytics : Monitor social media performance and report on KPIs, offering insights for improved campaign effectiveness.
  7. Trend Awareness : Stay updated with PR, content, and social media trends, implementing best practices into plans.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Social Media & PR Manager will:

  1. Be a highly organised individual, with experience in PR and social media, either client-side or agency-side.
  2. Have a proven ability to craft and implement effective PR and social media campaigns, with strong writing skills and a keen eye for design.
  3. Be comfortable managing agency relationships and influencer marketing while collaborating across teams to ensure cohesive communication.
  4. Ideally have a passion for technology, and an understanding of both B2B and B2C audiences, staying on top of trends and being adept at analysing campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
