Job Description:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery for a portfolio of ExCo sponsored projects.
- Support ExCo with business case definition, capital optimisation and portfolio prioritisation.
- Define and deliver key projects - THIS IS A STANDALONE HANDS ON DELIVERY ROLE.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for successful project execution.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify and manage project risks and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including reports and updates for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.
- Design the future delivery capability for the organisation and build business cases for future investment.
The Successful Applicant:
- Proven experience in project management within professional services, financial services or a recognised management consultancy environment.
- Referenceable track record of directly supporting Board / ExCo member led projects.
- This is a business transformation role so candidates must have a majority portfolio of business strategy / process projects.
- This is a stand alone delivery role so candidates must be able to demonstrate where they have worked successfully as a solo operator with limited support.
- This is a new project environment so candidates must be able to demonstrate where they have worked in an unstructured delivery context and brought order to the chaos.
- This role is 3 days per week onsite in Canary Wharf.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
