Job Description

The Senior Legal Counsel role based in Portsmouth will involve the following tasks:

• Act as the first point of contact for legal queries throughout the business
• Review and draft a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements
• Negotiate new agreements and terms of business
• Draft technology contracts, sales contracts, IP, SLAs, and NDAs
• Work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders
• Ensure that compliance processes are followed

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Interim Senior Legal Counsel role will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Be a qualified solicitor
• Have a strong background in negotiating large value commercial contracts
• Strong IP knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities
• Willingness to work 2-3 days in the office each week

This is an Interim position for 3-6 months.
Hybrid working is available, ideally 3 days per week in the office.
