Job Description
A leading law firm is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its growing Corporate Team in London. This is a key role within a high-performing team of 30 fee-earners, including 14 partners, spread across multiple offices. The team advises a diverse client base ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups and high-growth companies to large private and listed entities.
You\’ll be instrumental in supporting partners, managing junior associates, and strengthening client relationships across a broad range of corporate matters including:
- M&A transactions
- Equity fundraisings (Venture Capital & Private Equity)
- Joint ventures, partnerships & shareholder agreements
- Corporate restructuring & governance
- Employee share schemes
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver high-quality, commercially focused legal advice across multiple corporate transactions
- Lead and manage transactional projects with minimal supervision
- Supervise junior fee-earners and coordinate with external experts
- Run due diligence processes and manage virtual data rooms
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents including SPAs, investment agreements, and disclosure letters
- Oversee signing and completion processes
- Contribute to strategic goals and business development initiatives
- Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships

- UK-qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in corporate law
- Proven experience in a private practice corporate team
