Job Description
- Direct management of the Customer Service and Internal Sales function based in Leeds.
- Ensure customer quotations are accurate and in line with customer needs and expectations.
- Drive up-selling activity where suitable across customer orders, ensuring customers are aware of all product ranges available.
- Ensure the team have all the product information, training, and tools available to provide customers with the most suitable options to their needs.
- Ensure customer quotations are followed up and conversion rates are best managed and achieved.
- Take ownership of any escalated customer issues with a view to resolve in a time-sensitive manner with minimal impact to the customer.
- Build customer loyalty through clear and transparent conversations, providing world-class service during every interaction.
- Provide support to Sales Managers as and when required.
- Work closely with the purchasing department to understand stock/product availability and customer demand.
- Monitor, manage, and improve customer satisfaction results.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in a management or supervisor level role within internal sales or customer service, ideally within a supply chain or distribution focused business.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamic 365 (desirable).
- Strong commercial acumen.
