Job Description

Sales Data Analyst, Reading:

• Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support commercial decision-making.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimise business strategies.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales initiatives.
• Provide insights into pricing, promotions, and customer behaviour.
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes with data-driven recommendations.
• Work closely with stakeholders to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

Sales Data Analyst, Reading:

• Proven experience in sales analysis, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial tools sector is advantageous.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

What\’s on Offer

Salary of circa £27,000 to £30,000 dependant upon experience, plus excellent package (including 2 days working from home).
