Job Description
We are seeking an Associate (2+8 PQE) to join a thriving Real Estate Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high‑quality matters for bridging and high‑street lenders as well as borrowers. The team has grown significantly in the past 18 months and continues to expand, offering a stimulating environment for ambitious lawyers.
You will handle a broad range of property finance work, including drafting security documents, reviewing title documents, preparing reports on title, and liaising with clients under tight timeframes. A client following would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Acting for both lender and borrower clients on real estate finance transactions
- Drafting security documents (mortgage deeds, debentures, facility agreements)
- Reviewing legal packs and title documents (residential and commercial)
- Preparing reports on title and lease reports
- Managing transactions within short timescales
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service
The Successful Applicant
- 2-8 years PQE in Real Estate Finance or Real Estate
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- Excellent academics (ideally 2:1)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinescrements
- Team player with initiative and ambition
- LPC/BVC qualified
