Job Description
- The PE Real Estate Investor Relations Associate will be a key member of a tight-knit UK team, assisting Senior Partners across all investor relations and fund-raising activities.
- Plan, prepare and deliver internal and external presentations and information for key events: Investor Presentations and Reports, AGMs, Advisory Board meetings etc.
- Produce and complete all RFPs and DDQs and bespoke pitch books.
- Collate all necessary financial data and reports from the Investment and Asset Management teams.
- Project manage future fund-raising for existing and new products in the fund series.
- Manage, track and update investor database.
- Assist in on-boarding new investors, becoming a key point of contact within the business.
- Organise and help the Senior Partner in presenting and hosting investor meetings.
- Participate in a variety of projects and process improvement initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Real Estate Investor Relations Associate should have:
- Prior experience putting together proposals and RFP writing; deep understanding of the process of marketing discretionary investment funds to a UK/European institutional investor base.
- Existing network and known contacts in UK Institutional pension funds highly desirable.
- Analytical nature with impeccable attention to detail and time-management.
- Excellent numerical, writing and project management skills.
- Strong administrative skills, high level competency in all Microsoft packages – notably PowerPoint, Excel & Word – are essential.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working across internal functions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A high degree of professionalism and strong work ethic, ability to work in and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion required in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
- High-grade / GPA in a Real Estate / Real Estate Finance (or associated Built Environment) degree from a top-tier university.
- Additional qualification highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a principal-led Real Estate Investor Relations position, having already worked in a PE Real Estate Investment / Asset management business.
- Demonstrable track-record in presenting to and on-boarding institutional investors.
