About Our Client:

Our client is a medium sized and well-regarded UK health charity.

Job Description:

Hybrid responsibilities:

  • Lead the charity's public affairs initiatives across the devolved nations.
  • Develop important policy positions through analysing data and evidence.
  • Produce high-quality policy briefings, reports and consultation responses.
  • Track and monitor policy developments.
  • Build relationships with key external stakeholders, including government departments, not-for-profit organisations and those with lived experiences.
  • Work and build relationships with MPs and civil servants, attending APPGs and select committees in parliament.
  • Work closely and collaborate with other teams within the charity.

The Successful Applicant:

Essential:

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall.
  • Ability to produce high quality, evidence based internal and external briefing materials under time constraints.
  • Experience developing influencing strategies and public affairs campaigns.
