A reputable exchange platform based in Central London is seeking an Onboarding and Customer Due Diligence Analyst. This is a permanent position within a well-established organisation in the financial services sector.

Job Description

  • Customer Due Diligence: Support onboarding by performing initial and ongoing due diligence, maintaining checklists, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Screening & Escalation: Conduct screening of clients and escalate concerns to senior analysts or Compliance Advisory as needed.
  • Audit & Reporting: Maintain clear audit trails, escalated issues with recommendations, and assist in creating management information (MI).
  • Policy & Programme Support: Contribute to policy reviews and support annual due diligence and periodic risk review programmes.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure timely closure of screening tasks, support onboarding solutions for group initiatives, and help administer incentive programmes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualifications & Certifications: Degree qualification with formal AML/Financial Crime certifications highly desirable.
  • Experience & Knowledge: Proven experience in UK financial services, onboarding/CDD, and working knowledge of UK AML requirements; exposure to trading environments is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with screening tools, KYC systems, and understanding of risk factors like sanctions and PEPs.
  • Core Competencies: Excellent communication, attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
