Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join them on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday in Potters Bar.
Job Description
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities for young children.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
- Support the emotional, physical, and social development of children in your care.
- Work collaboratively with parents, guardians, and team members to meet children\’s individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
- Follow all safeguarding procedures and policies to ensure children\’s safety and well-being.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members when necessary.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your childcare expertise.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Nursery Practitioner Level 3 should have:
- A Level 3 qualification (or working towards) in childcare or early years education.
- Experience working in a professional childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children and their families.
- A proactive and organised approach to supporting children\’s development.
