Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join them on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday in Potters Bar.

Job Description

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities for young children.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Support the emotional, physical, and social development of children in your care.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, guardians, and team members to meet children\’s individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
  • Follow all safeguarding procedures and policies to ensure children\’s safety and well-being.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members when necessary.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your childcare expertise.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Nursery Practitioner Level 3 should have:

  • A Level 3 qualification (or working towards) in childcare or early years education.
  • Experience working in a professional childcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with children and their families.
  • A proactive and organised approach to supporting children\’s development.
