Job Description
- Lead the end-to-end process for new product development, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure all packaging meets regulatory compliance standards and environmental policies.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including marketing and production, to achieve project goals.
- Conduct packaging quality assessments and resolve any non‑compliance issues promptly.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality materials and competitive pricing.
- Monitor and report on the progress of NPD projects to senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in packaging processes and sustainability initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful NPD & Packaging Compliance Manager should have:
- Proven experience in product development and/or packaging compliance within the FMCG industry.
- A strong understanding of regulatory and environmental requirements related to packaging.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field are desirable.
