Job Description:

  • Deliver corporate tax compliance and advisory services using modern, technology-enabled tools.
  • Manage a substantial portfolio of large corporate clients, including onboarding, engagements, billing, and cash collection.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client service delivery and drive improved recoveries.
  • Build strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Work collaboratively with directors and partners on advisory projects and business development.
  • Apply excellent risk awareness, adhering to quality control policies and procedures.
  • Lead or support special assignments and complex advisory projects as required.
  • Coach, supervise, and mentor junior team members, supporting their technical and professional development.
  • Challenge current practices and contribute to innovation and change initiatives.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Strong and up-to-date technical knowledge of UK corporate taxation, with the ability to navigate complex tax issues.
  • Experience managing a profitable portfolio of large corporate clients.
  • Background in project management and managing or mentoring staff.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior management and build trusted client relationships.
  • CTA, ACA, or equivalent qualification (or degree-level with relevant experience).
  • Demonstrable post-qualification experience in corporate tax.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven individual who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
