About Our Client

This role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The business are a rapidly expanding company growing year to year through acquisition and private funding.

Job Description

  • Process payroll on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update payroll records with employee information and salary details.
  • Calculate and process statutory payments, including tax, National Insurance and pensions.
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees and management.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and legislation.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management as needed.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

  • Experience in managing and processing payroll within a professional setting.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with employees and management.

What's on Offer

  • 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays.
  • Salary ranging from Β£30,000 to Β£35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
