Job Description
- Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with housing policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure maintenance issues are resolved efficiently.
- Support tenants in maintaining their tenancies and signpost them to relevant support services.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to address tenant needs effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data is updated on the housing management system.
- Assist in resolving disputes and complaints in a professional manner.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of housing initiatives and policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Housing Officer should have:
- Previous experience within the property or housing sector.
- Knowledge of housing regulations and tenancy management.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using housing management systems or similar software.
- A proactive approach to supporting tenants and resolving issues.
