About Our Client
We are partnering with a growing, regulated financial services business based in central Manchester, known for its outstanding culture, modern offices, and industry-leading employee retention. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Team Manager to take ownership of an established outbound sales team of around 12 agents, driving results through coaching, performance management, and team development. Role Overview
- Lead and inspire a team of 12 outbound sales agents within a fast-paced, high-performing financial contact centre.
- Report directly to the Senior Sales Manager, with a clear progression path for strong performers.
- Focus on delivering exceptional sales performance, compliance, and customer experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Performance Management: Monitor daily KPIs, conversion rates, and sales quality β running coaching sessions and 1:1s to maximise results.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and engage the team through daily huddles, feedback sessions, and recognition of success.
- Coaching & Development: Identify individual strengths and development needs, creating tailored coaching plans to build capability.
- Sales Delivery: Support agents on live deals, help overcome objections, and maintain a focus on quality outcomes for customers.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Grow the team through hiring, onboarding, and training new talent to meet business growth targets.
- Culture & Motivation: Foster a competitive, high-energy, and supportive environment where people want to achieve.
- Collaboration: Work closely with planning, admin, and compliance to ensure smooth operations and adherence to processes.
- Reporting: Analyse daily MI and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and present insights to senior leadership.

- An experienced B2C sales leader with a track record of managing and developing successful outbound telesales or contact centre teams.
- A hands-on, proactive, and data-driven manager β you know your numbers and how to use them to drive performance.
- A motivator and coach who gets the best out of people through structure, energy, and accountability.
- Confident leading from the front β whether thatβs running energising morning huddles, jumping on the floor to support deals, or delivering honest performance conversations.
- Commercially minded and able to balance sales targets with compliance and quality outcomes.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy B2C environment where expectations are high and results matter.
- Brings stability and ambition β someone who has built tenure and now wants to step into a business where growth is continuous.
- Ideally, you have experience in financial services, motor finance, or another regulated B2C sales environment, though weβre open to strong contact centre leaders from other sectors with transferable skills.
