Our client is a recognised global business in an exciting industry and currently recruiting for a Management Accountant (Global) to join the team in the Wimbledon offices, hybrid working available.
Job Description:
This role offers the opportunity to work within the Group's Global Corporate Finance team, supporting a globally scaled business undergoing continued investment in technology and capability. The Global Corporate team underpins four critical global areas:
- Commercial Software
- Operations Technology
- Marketing
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted finance partner to global leaders across Commercial Software, Ops Tech, Marketing, and Partner Network.
- Provide clear commercial insight to support investment decisions, cost control, and profitability.
- Deliver ROI analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Constructively challenge assumptions and cost drivers.
- Own monthly P&L reporting and performance analysis.
- Develop and maintain reporting that highlights key drivers and KPIs.
- Support the delivery of budgets, reforecasts, and regular estimates.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Produce timely, accurate management accounts in line with group standards.
- Maintain robust controls across overheads, accruals, and balance sheet items.
- Deliver mid-month estimates, month-end flash figures, and balance sheet reviews.
The Successful Applicant:
- 3 years' management accounting experience.
- Strong commercial mindset with confidence to challenge and influence.
- Excellent financial analysis and reporting capability.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, global environment.
- Strong Excel and systems capability.
- Excellent system skills particularly Excel Essential.
- Strong commercial acumen including ability to challenge existing processes and approaches.
- Proactive, self-motivated, flexible and dynamic. Quick to embrace change.
- Good systems skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
What's on Offer:
- Ideally up to £50,000 potentially to £55,000.
- Bonus - Annual bonus between 10 - 15% depending on company performance.
- Hybrid working pattern - 2 days WFH 3 days in office. Fridays, the whole finance team are in.
- 25 days + bank holidays + the option to purchase up to 5 more annually. Holidays increase with years of service up to a maximum of 30.
- Hours - 37.5 hours per week. They operate a core hours structure between 10am and 4pm (start and finish times outside of this can be flexible, so long as you're hitting 37.5 hours a week).
