Job Description:
This Management Accountant role will report directly to the Financial Controller. This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of the full management accounts process and play a key part in shaping the finance function as the company continues its growth journey.
Responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end preparation of monthly management accounts
- Production of accurate and timely weekly reports for senior management
- Updating and maintaining financial dashboards to support decision-making
- Oversee stock forecasting and integration with purchasing function
- Ensuring accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the general ledger and payables ledger
- Enforcing financial controls and improving processes where needed
- Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and business initiatives
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide insight and financial support
- Ability to process a monthly payroll
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Strong technical background in accountancy and finance, with experience in accounting compliance
- Part/newly qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and management reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Highly tech-savvy, with confidence in Excel and modern accounting/reporting tools
- Adaptable, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Positive "can-do" attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
