About Our Client: Our client is a global investment management firm specialising in fundamentals-based, asset-oriented financing and investing across the full capital structure.
In this VP role, you will play a pivotal part in driving structured finance investments within the European Private Investments team, with a focus on consumer and/or commercial credit underwriting. Responsibilities include:
- Leading the full transaction lifecycle, including origination, negotiation, modelling, due diligence, structuring, and investment memo preparation.
- Overseeing legal documentation and coordinating with internal teams throughout execution and post-closing.
- Building strong relationships with counterparties and identifying new business opportunities across a variety of markets.
- Collaborating closely with Asset Management, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Loan Operations.
- Guiding and mentoring junior team members, contributing to a high-performance culture.
- Staying informed of market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging investment opportunities to support strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 10 years of experience in structured finance loan origination, ideally including consumer and/or commercial credit underwriting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort handling complex data sets and structuring challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- A Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree.
