Job Description: The Operational Resilience and BCM Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- European lead to drive continuous improvement for business continuity practices, working closely with the Investment Management desks and leadership. A key component will be ensuring continuity practices align with EU/UK regulatory requirements.
- Supports the development of strong risk assessments, change management practices, internal risk monitoring and reporting infrastructure, targeted reviews, controls assurance, and external monitoring programs.
- Conducts advanced business continuity and investment access risk assessments. Analyses and investigates results of testing and makes recommendations to management for business continuity risk reporting.
- Ensures consistent implementation of global business continuity and investment access risk policies and procedures.
- Develops and maintains metrics to communicate the status of measures effectively. Leads the development of effective and efficient risk monitoring and reporting routines.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of financial markets, securities and general investment themes in order to bring an informed perspective to investment access and business continuity risk management processes and policies.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Will contribute to local market data vendor management needs periodically, as needed.
The Successful Applicant: A successful Operational Resilience and BCM Manager should have:
- A strong understanding of operational resilience and business continuity management principles.
- Experience within the Asset Management industry ideally, or if not the Investment Banking or Trading environments.
- For this role the level of experience required is circa 6-10 years.
- An ability to communicate and assist senior stakeholders in the business.
- Experience of operational risk and controls relevant.
