Job Description
As Bid Evaluator, duties will include, however not be limited to:
- Analyse and evaluate franchise bids in accordance with set criteria and guidelines.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for decision-making purposes.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations during bid evaluations.
- Bidding in Local government contracts relating to Transport, with aspects including Social value, Health and Safety, Innovation and Mobilisation.
- Provide support in drafting and refining bid evaluation frameworks.
- Maintain accurate records of bid evaluations and related documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the bidding framework.
- Communicate findings and feedback effectively to stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bid Evaluator should have:
- Proven experience in Bid/Contract/Procurement Evaluation.
- Experience working in the transport franchise sector is essential.
- Experience working within a Local Government or Combined Authority.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
