Job Description

  • You are an experienced Legal Secretary or PA, having worked with an Employment Law or Litigation team
  • You have strong client service experience, and enjoy building professional relationships with key contacts and stakeholders
  • You can manage your time and diary to complete all tasks within set targets or deadlines
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages and other software
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You can manage a variety of tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment
  • You have a strong attention to detail and complete work to a high standard
  • You enjoy working individually or within a wider team environment

The Successful Applicant

  • Assisting solicitors with all legal administrative tasks and tribunal claims from instruction to final hearing
  • Liaising and building relationships with clients, third party representatives and other stakeholders
  • Conducting and preparing legal research when required
  • Handling all initial calls from new clients and recording all information
  • Assisting with contracts, agreements and handbooks
  • Coordinating onboarding process, including AML and conflict checking
  • Opening and closing files when required
  • Managing all email correspondence and diary management
  • Coordinating meetings and all requirements
  • Booking and managing travel when required
  • Sugggesting process improvements and solutions to streamline delivery
  • Recording all information on the internal DMS, completing all administrative tasks
  • Building strong relationships with clients and contacts, developing ongoing relationships, encouraging repeat business
  • Staying up to date with employment law developments
  • Following all internal policies and procedures
