My client is looking for a proactive individual has been within Management/Finance Accounts for 1-2 years that is looking for more ownership of the month end process, and support in transformation/process improvement projects. Job Description
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile balance sheets and manage general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights.
- Contribute to budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Support transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
The Successful Applicant
- Be part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA
- Have gained 1-2 years experience in a Management Accountant or Financial Accountant environment
- Passion for continuous development and process improvement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
- An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive approach to managing tasks and meeting deadlines.
